The 23-year-old Hungarian international defender truly burst onto the scene last season. He had already shown his abilities in Győr, having spent the 2022/2023 season with us as a central defender, and despite his young age, he even captained the team on several occasions. Between 2023 and 2025, he played for DAC Dunajská Streda, but he was unable to secure regular playing time in the Csallóköz region.

As a result, he returned to Győr in the summer of 2025 and was practically an undisputed starter from the very first day after his arrival. He could be seen playing alongside Alex Abrahamsson, Deian Boldor or Senna Miangue, but most often next to Miljan Krpic, with the pair forming the standout central defensive partnership of the entire 2025/2026 season. In the historic season that ended with a league title, he made 39 appearances: 31 in the league, 4 in the Hungarian Cup and 4 in the Conference League. Across those matches, he scored 3 goals.

On June 5, 2026, he reached another milestone in his career: the player from Jászboldogháza made his debut for the Hungarian senior national team in a 2-1 victory against Finland.

Márk Csinger’s loan agreement with our club expired on June 30, 2026. However, as one of the leaders of our title-winning side, keeping him was one of the most important tasks of the summer transfer window. The lengthy series of negotiations has now come to an end, and Csinger has signed a long-term contract with ETO FC running until 2029.

We continue together, Csingi!
