    The club was founded under the name Győri Vagongyár ETO

  • 1937

    First leading role

    After winning the second division championship, the team was able to play in the top flight for the first time in its history.

  • 1963

    First championship title

    Thanks to its better goal ratio, the team finished in first place ahead of Budapest Honvéd

  • 1965

    Semi-final in the European Championship

    In the quarter-finals, the team advanced against Door Wilskracht Sterk, but Benfica, with Eusébio in the top four, proved to be a big challenge for the Hungarian champions.

    First Hungarian Cup victory

    In the year when the team´s name was changed to Rába ETO Győr, it won its first Hungarian Cup

  • 1966

    Second Hungarian Cup victory

    Simultaneously with the victory in the Hungarian Cup, the team marched to the quarter-finals in the KEK

  • 1967

    Third Hungarian Cup victory

    We finished at the bottom in the championship, but won the Hungarian Cup third time.

    Fourth Hungarian Cup victor

    The team won the last Hungarian Cup to date

  • 1982

    Second championship title

    The first league title of the Verebes era with 102 kicked goals and 5 points ahead of Ferencváros, top scorer Péter Hannich

    Third championship title

    The team defended its league title, again this time against Ferencváros

  • 2013

    Fourth championship title

    After thirty years, the team is again a gold medalist

    Super Cup win

    We won the Super Cup with a 3-0 victory against Hungarian Cup winner DVSC
